Shawn Hayes, Broker/Owner of Principle Property Management, first came to Peoria in 1999 to attend Bradley University. He graduated in 2003 with a BA in Advertising and Marketing. Shawn obtained his real estate license in 2005 and began investing in real estate. He has been managing property for others since 2010.
Outside of work, Shawn has enjoyed volunteering as a baseball coach for Richwoods Youth Baseball, tutoring 5th Grade math at Von Steuben, and volunteering with the high school youth group CityLife. Shawn is an elder at St Paul Baptist Church, with much of his time devoted to marriage ministry and benevolence ministry.
Shawn has a wife, Stephanie, and two children, Cameron and Kylie. Stephanie is a Physical Therapist at OSF. Cameron loves playing baseball and attends Richwoods High School. Kylie also attends Richwoods and enjoys playing softball, volleyball and cheerleading. When he’s not at work or with his family, Shawn also enjoys playing Pickleball at Glen Oak Park and Softball at Peoria Stadium. Shawn is also a housing commissioner for the City of Peoria.
